Antonio Gelis Filho

Antonio Gelis-Filho, 45, Brazilian. Professor of Management at FGV-EAESP in São Paulo, where he lectures to Brazilian as well as to foreign students. As a professor at FGV, he has also taught courses to executives from Brazilian and foreign companies like Itau, Odebrecht, Citibank, Deloitte, Whirlpool and others. He has presented works in academic events in Latin America, Europe and US and has received the “Best Paper of the Year” award from the Brazilian Journal of Public Management in 2007. PhD in Management by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP, 2005). Graduated from University of São Paulo Law School (1995, currently inscribed as a lawyer at the Brazilian Bar Association) and from University of São Paulo School of Medicine (1990). His major research interests are the comparative analysis of regulatory institutions, and the study of relations between geopolitical issues, organization theory and management.
